I get many compliments on this line of jewellery as it is so unusual and very different than the wire work other artists are doing. I use 3 different gauges of wire that I shape and hammer, then drill the holes and sand the edges. I make the glass nuggets by fusing various colours of glass together, then the glass nugget is soldered on using lead free solder. Once I have assembled the piece it is electroplated in a rhodium plated finish.
Each pendant is hammered into it's shape,the bead is first fired in my kiln then soldered on using lead free solder and the whole piece is then electoplated with a nickel finish.
